Maintenance Engineer with electrical certificate up to 17th edition required for steel manufacturing company based in Dudley, West Midlands. Permanent contract, working shifts of days/ twilight. Up to £10.00 p/h on days, up to £13.33 on overtime depending on ability and experience. Double time Sundays when worked.
We specialise in the design and manufacture of steel products for export and UK markets and are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer with electrical certificate up to 17th edition possessing good all round analytical skills. You will have electrical and basic mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment and practical experience of maintaining electrical test equipment. Experience on presses 5T -400T and CNC lathes and milling machines is essential.
The role involves responding to unexpected equipment failure by fault finding to component level, undertaking emergency repairs to restore production and undertaking scheduled equipment maintenance activities.
