Home Carer required to support young man living independently in Mirfield (nr Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield and Leeds). Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
We are seeking a number of carers to work alongside our adult son who is profoundly autistic. The successful candidates will need to have a full UK driving licence and be physically fit as our son is very active, enjoying regular walks. An understanding of autism and its effects on daily life is highly desirable. Although the role is not live-in, integration into the family is essential. We are non- smoking vegetarians and so fitting in with either/both of these ways of life would be preferable.
Hours are negotiable but due to the required flexibility it is not envisaged that this would be a secondary job.
