Sales and Marketing Executive required by IT solutions company based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. Salary depending on skills and experience.
 
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive to support the activities of the Sales and Marketing Team. This is an ideal role for a bright and ambitious candidates looking to progress and make a career within the fast paced and evolving field of IT Solutions supply. A minimum of 12 months experience in a sales / marketing / IT customer service environment is essential.
 
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and Coordinate Email Marketing Campaigns and manage the follow-up through Telemarketing
• Proactive Telemarketing of profiled lists to promote the Services and Solutions we offer, with the aim to book introductory meetings for the Sale Team
• Respond to incoming Sales Enquiries to qualify and fix introductory meetings for the Sales Team, whilst also attending where appropriate.
• Complete the background research preparation about any relevant Prospective client, with which we have a scheduled introductory meeting, with details about their potential requirements etc. and distribute accordingly internally in advance of any scheduled meeting
• Take meeting minutes of introductory meetings and draft (and potentially send) follow-up communications to confirm the prospective client’s requirements and our identified suitability
• Proactively manage our online “Lead generation” tools to initially introduce the company, and then work alongside colleagues in the Sales Team with the aim to progress to introductory meetings
• Liaise with our external Marketing and Design agency in both the preparation of Content and updates for our Company Website and e-shots.
• Monitor our web analytic software which reports on Visitors to our site and subsequently follow-up suitably identified enquiries by Telephone with the aim to arrange introductory meetings
• Monitor our website “Chat Now” function and effectively respond initially to any incoming enquiries
• Preparation of basic solution quotations for the submission to customers – with scheduled follow-up
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure that we are up to date with their product ranges and promoting them in the correct manner
• Update the company’s Twitter and LinkedIn accounts with relevant announcements, often in conjunction with Email Marketing Campaigns or Website News updates
• Event arrangement, publicising of the fact via email and the website, with Telemarketing follow-up to ensure successful attendances and outcomes
 
The role is initially office based, but the successful candidate may have the opportunity to progress to a field based Account Management role in time.
 
The successful candidate may be required to travel to prospective client sites from time to time, so a full driving license and access to a car insured for occasional business use is a requirement.
