PA / Personal Assistant required for private sector Plastic Surgeon based Central London. Up to £34K depending on skills and experience

Our client provides a busy, high end, private plastic surgery service in Central London. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic PA / Personal Assistant with excellent communication skills. You will be expected to act as an effective ambassador, representing the Practice’s best interests and recognising opportunities to enhance its medium and long term future. Experience of working as a PA with an understanding of the healthcare sector, medical terminology and use of CCSD codes for medical insurance billing purposes is essential.

Key duties and responsibilities
-Administrative running of the Practice including responsibility for managing the secretary.
-Provide high-standard non-clinical care/service to patients.
-Make bookings, communicate with patients.
-Coordinate patient care with various health insurers and care providers.
-Management and coordination of rooms/theatre booking.
-Manage health records and patients files/investigations.
-Invoicing and billing.
-Collecting patient testimonials and media assets for distribution on the practice website.
-When necessary, arranging conferences, hotel bookings, travel arrangements.
-Managing the Surgeon’s multiple complex diaries effectively.

You:
The ideal candidate will be conscientious, personable, have an eye for detail, committed, polite, well presented, empathetic yet assertive. Excellent time management & organisation skills and the ability to work independently, prioritising multiple tasks is essential. Previous experience of working in a highly confidential capacity as well as excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must

You must have the ability to:
-Communicate effectively with all health care providers and patients.
-Work to tight deadlines and managing workload by prioritising work accordingly.
-Establish and maintain positive working relationships.
-Handle stressful situations.

Knowledge/experience of plastic surgery and DGL practice manager would be considered highly desirable
