IT Support Analyst (1st Line) required by IT solution company based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. Salary depending on skills and experience.
We are now looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to act as a first line support on all hardware and software support calls. Ideally you will have a minimum of 9-12 months experience in an IT support environment.
-Allocation of Helpdesk support calls and management of Helpdesk software.
-Escalation of calls to Second Line Support Technician.
-Installation and configuration of desktop and laptop computers.
-Ensure daily and weekly backups are completed and logged.
-Set up new users in Microsoft Windows Active Directory and relevant applications.
-Manage the off-boarding of users using checklists.
-Provide desktop support and relocations.
-Responsible for testing and deploying new hardware (i.e. scanners, USB drives).
-Maintain Printers – Order and replace toners, arrange engineer visits as required.
Skills and Experience:
-Good verbal and face-to-face communication.
-IT competent and be familiar with the Microsoft Windows desktop environment and Backup Exec. A knowledge of Sophos would be an  advantage.
-The ability to work on their own initiative and be flexible.
-To be able to work efficiently and accurately.
