IT Support Analyst (1st / 2nd line) required by IT company based in Tilehurst, nr Reading. Salary range £13K - £15K depending on skills and experience.
We provide managed IT services, technology solutions and outsourced IT for business and the public sector across the UK. We now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to provide 1st / 2nd line support to Denefield Academy, Tilehurst, assisting them with hardware and software problems and service requests via phone, email and in person.
With at least 6-12 months experience in an IT Support environment, you will demonstrate a strong aptitude for attention to detail and good customer service as maintaining an effective level of communication with all client staff is essential.
Responsibilities:
-Manage support calls via the UKN service management tool, responding to client enquiries and helping them to resolve hardware or software problems
-Allocation / escalation of calls to appropriate support level or third party maintenance company.
-Undertaking installations, PC builds and configurations
-Ensuring daily administration tasks are completed (IT checks, user checklist, IT Knowledge base, audits and asset management)
-Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
-Support and setting up of Audio visual systems such as projectors
Specific Knowledge:
Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, PC desktop and laptop equipment, PC patching and updates, Anti-Virus systems, file conversions, CD/DVD copying, formatting of documents etc. Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Network troubleshooting and diagnoses.
