Assistant Branch Manager required by electrical wholesaler based in Cambridge. Salary £15550 -  £23,000 depending on skills / experience. Possibility of progression to Branch Manager for the right candidate.

We are one of the UK’s leading Electrical Wholesaler with 15 Branches across the South East. Our vision is to support and develop long lasting careers for people with experience in an electrical wholesale capacity. We are now recruiting for an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager to maximise profitability and achieve set targets as well as serving customers at the trade counter ensuring that a fast and efficient service is provided.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff to ensure sales and productivity targets are met and the highest standards of service are upheld. Most of all, you will share our company’s 100% dedication to delivering excellence in service. The ideal candidate will be an experienced trade counter sales person, preferably with electrical wholesale experience and good product knowledge. You will also need to be flexible in your approach and willing to help out in other areas of the business as and when required.
 
Duties:
-Place orders with suppliers when necessary.
-Obtain stock from other branches when necessary.
-Ensure stocks are seasonally adjusted.
-Keep up to date with promotions ensuring they are adequately advertised within the branch.
-Participate in stock checks, being active in accurate stock figures.
-Actively promote health and safety across the branch.
-Assist in the warehouse when required – picking/packing/booking deliveries
-Generate sales reports, organize banking and delegate tasks in the absence of the Manager
 
Skills/Qualities Required:
- Electrical wholesale sales experience preferable
- Good product knowledge
- Understanding of the Market
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Computer Literate
- Sound Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Commercially minded
- Customer Focused
- Stock Management skills
- Driving Licence Desirable
