IT Support Analyst (1st / 2nd line) / Helpdesk Engineer required based near Croydon £18K-£26K.
Our client is a Microsoft Partner providing professional outsourced support and IT services to the SME and voluntary sector market for over 23 years. They now require an IT Support Analyst (1st / 2nd line) / Helpdesk Engineer to provide client technical support from initial response through to completion predominantly through emails, telephone and remote assistance with some on-site support requirement.
This is a diverse, exciting and challenging role with access to work on multiple and varied desktop and server platforms, infrastructures and applications. It is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in a company that offers career progression to the ambitious and motivated candidate. You will have a minimum of 12 months experience in an IT technical support role, possess excellent communication skills, look presentable and be both an individual and team worker. Full driving license and own car is an advantage.
Technical Skills
You should be proficient in Microsoft desktop and server platforms including to Windows 7/8 and Server 2008/2012. In addition to desktop and server platforms you should also ideally have experience and working knowledge of some or all of the server/infrastructure applications and roles: Exchange Server, Terminal Server, Hyper-V, VPN’s, DirectAccess, SQL Server, IIS, routers and firewalls. Office 365 experience is also an advantage. You should ideally have a minimum of 1 valid MCP qualification
