Customer Service Advisor required by waste management company based in Shrewsbury. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. Permanent position offered after 6 months’ probationary period. 40hrs/week.
 
We specialise in all aspects of waste disposal and environmental management working with both commercial clients and individual customers. Due to recent expansion, we now require an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join the team. Experience in the waste management industry or similar would be high desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
 
You will have an excellent telephone manner and first class customer care skills. Used to dealing with a high volume of calls you will be able to convey information clearly and concisely to our clients and customers.
 
A basic level of computer literacy is required; however training will be provided for specialist roles.  Attention to detail and the ability to file paperwork correctly is essential.
 
Daily Tasks
-Take incoming calls
-Process enquiries promptly (quotations/orders)
-Advise Clients on suitable solutions for their situation
-Follow up on quotations in a timely manner
-Liaise with the Accounts, Buying Teams and the Clients to resolve invoice queries
-Place calls to Service Provider to make bookings
-Give quotations and confirm bookings to Clients
-Ensure that Job Sheets are filed away correctly
-Ensure Client information is kept up to date
-Ensure daily reports are run and distributed to the correct person, to chase
