Assistant Business Manager required by a leading independent finance company providing financial services and training for the franchise industry. Based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. Competitive salary offered. Excellent career opportunity for the right candidate. Full training provided.

We are interested to hear from recent Business Studies / Management (or similar) Graduates or candidates who have gained an experience / understanding of business financials (e.g. banking assistant) whilst in the workplace and are looking for the next career step. Career progression will lead to a Business Planning Consultant role, creating financial models and business templates for new Franchisor clients and managing the associated relationships.

We provide key services to the franchise industry including the preparation of comprehensive business plans, arranging finance and offering financial training. Due to the growth of our business an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Business Manager to join the team, preparing Business Plans and Financial Forecasts for new and existing clients. The role is office-based, but client meetings may occur from time to time along with attendance at franchise exhibitions, as required.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare Business Plans and Financial Forecasts for both new and existing franchise businesses
-Submit of finance applications to lenders
-Managing finance applications through to completion. Liaising with the client/lender and franchisor throughout the process
-Liaise with other areas of the business, including Franchise Finance Leasing Centre and Franchise Finance -Training Academy to make referrals as appropriate
-Assist and support the Head of Business Planning & Funding
-Contact / liaise with franchisors as appropriate                    
-Maintain up to date client information via our CRM system           
 
Skills:                   
-Educated to, at least, A level standard (or equivalent), ideally including Business Studies or a knowledge of Profit & Loss accounts
-Excellent communication & relationship building skills are required          
-Attention to detail is essential
-Ability to work under own initiative and to be able to meet tight deadlines
-Demonstrate the ability to be a team player              
-Must be proficient with MS Excel and competent in the use of MS Word
