Business Development Executive required by leading training and work based skills provider in North London N17 with offices around North / East & West London.
 
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. Competitive basic + commission.
 
We provide high-quality accredited basic skills, work-based and vocational training across 7 training centres in North and East London, for both employed and unemployed individuals. Sectors we cover are Health & Care, IT Professional, Accountancy, Management, Languages, Business Administration and Teaching/ Learning at levels 1-5.
 
This role is specifically to join a team working on a pan London IT professional skills project that will engaging with tech businesses and students aged 16-30 in London. The objective of this programme is to provide digital skills training leading into apprenticeships, employment or higher education opportunities for participants aged 16-30.
 
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Development Executive to join the team, supporting the company to acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones. With a proven track record of accomplishment in a sales environment, you will be a passionate, driven and dynamic candidate, with strong influencing and negotiation skills. This is an excellent career opportunity for a talented candidate, comfortable to work in a target oriented environment and keen to learn and develop a career in sales and business development. First class communication, rapport building and networking skills are essential. The organisations dress code is smart / formal.
 
You will be expected to take responsibility for your own professional development and participate in relevant internal and external training/activities.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prospect for new clients/Business by networking, cold calling, advertising
-Develop a rapport with new clients
-Engage with potential employers, attend meetings to discuss their training, recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentices.
-Promote Apprenticeships, commercial training to clients, work experience opportunities for Traineeship
-Liaise with employers and relevant organisations in order to expand the numbers of apprentices on programmes, and increase the programmes offering apprenticeship training.
-Set sales targets and maximise sales through close management and relationship building.
-Create weekly/monthly forecasts and end of month reports on performance
-Understand the changing world of apprenticeships and needs of the industries and sectors that the company represent and to be able to engage employers and network members from these sectors
