An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to join a medical research company based near Ipswich. Initially on a 6-month contract, the post offers a competitive salary and benefits package for the right candidate. Full-Time / Part-Time Flexible hours considered for the right candidate.
 
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and hard-working with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in B2B marketing. The role will involve managing our digital marketing communications and in-house activity as well as overseeing the activities of our social media agency. Initially you will be working autonomously until the Marketing Director returns from maternity leave.
 
Joining a close-knit team, you will be responsible for all aspects of content creation; from generating blogs, e-newsletters and printed material to briefing agencies on infographics and videos. With our new website and brand launched just 6 months ago, it is also critical that you keep the content fresh and come up with new strategies to increase web traffic.
 
Ideally you should be familiar with the following platforms:
-CRM – (Act) – and general database management;
-E-marketing tools - e.g. MailChimp
-InDesign - not essential but working knowledge highly desirable
-CMS – maintain / create web pages and blog contributions
-SEO – we don’t use agencies so an understanding of how to implement the basics is essential
-Google Analytics –monitor web traffic on a regular basis and share reports with the team, plus action and implement improvements
-Social Media – all channels, with experience of creating and sharing articles across LinkedIn 

You will be joining a vibrant and talented team of researchers and will work closely with them to ensure that the value of our work is effectively communicated to clients and prospects.
 
Personal skills and experience:
-Being able to deliver marketing plan and manage a budget
-Ability to research, write, implement and promote content that drives web traffic
-Interacting with potential clients via online channels
-Attending meetings, exhibitions and conferences and interacting with potential clients
-Ability to work alone and with other team members
-Knowledge of the medical/healthcare industry an advantage.
