Production Administrator / Materials Coordinator required by engineering company based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Salary negotiable up to £25K depending on skills and experience. Part Time / Flexible hours will be considered for the right candidate.
We are part of a fast growing group of companies, manufacturing hydraulic cylinders and power units. Due to increased contracts, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Production Administrator / Materials Coordinator to join our company, providing technical administrative support to our Production and Design Teams. Previous experience of working in an engineering / manufacturing company is essential as is the ability to read engineering drawings and estimate production time requirements.
-Supply the production team with accurate documentation from which to manufacture
-Source and arrange quotes for raw materials
-Manage orders for sub-contract supplies
-Support quality control systems (ISO 9001)
-Respond to customer enquiries by phone / email
-File and manage production/design documentation and reports
-Maintain staff holiday and sickness records for the team 

-Previous experience working in a similar role
-Ability to read technical drawings and estimate production requirements
-Flexibility and ability to work as part of a small team
-String computer skills (Word, Excel).
-Experience of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCad, Sage Line 50, desirable
-Engineering qualification to ONC / HND or equivalent level desirable
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
