Funding Compliance Data Administrator required by one of the UK’s leading training providers delivering Apprenticeships in the workplace based in Hemel Hempstead. Salary £14K - £16K depending on skills and experience.
We are now looking to recruit a Data Administrator to work as part of the Funding Compliance Department supporting and carrying out administrative duties for Management and field staff ensuring that all information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
You will be an experienced and highly organised Administrator used to working with large amounts of data in a highly-regulated environment such as education / finance / insurance / banking etc. Previous experience of working for a training provider / educational establishment would be highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate. You should have the ability to prioritise your own workload, be adaptable and work under pressure, communicating with people at all levels both verbally and written is essential.
Your main responsibilities will be to assist the Funding Compliance Team Leader to:
- Carry out monthly invoicing to employers for agreed employer contributions
- Complete monthly reconciliation of employer contributions received
- Chase non-payment of employer contribution
- Input employer contributions on to PICS in a timely manner to ensure funding is approved for training delivery.
- Maintain data with regard to learner record management system and correct errors accordingly.
- Process financial information, check and input data, check eligibility and produce funding reconciliation for monthly claims and record/store financial records in line with processes and procedures for audit purposes
- Create monthly financial checks and reports to specification and maintain existing reports to accurately reflect data and carry out data checks ensuring accuracy of data tracking
- Write letters, produce in-house certification, parent letters and checking/updating of Health and Safety documents and Employers Liability Insurance as required by the ESFA.
- Apply for Certificates, registering learners, filing, photo-copying, emailing and any other duties within the department.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience as an data Administrator in a fast paced regulated environment
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to present reports to a high standard
- Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and integrate data
