Part Time Credit Controller required by family owned manufacturer and supplier for housewares products based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Competitive salary offered depending on skills and experience. This role is offered on a part time bases of 20-25 hours per week which can be fit around other family / school / life commitments within standard office hours
-Timely collection of debts on overdue accounts, by telephone and email
-Resolve queries both internally and externally by liaising with clients and colleagues
-Updating the client notes with details of conversations, letters, emails and agreed payments
-Daily processing of cheques and BACS payments, including coding, posting to the ledger and banking
-Daily balancing of posted receipts to sales ledger
-Ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager

Skills and Experience:
-Credit Control experience, ideally within an Accounts/Finance/SOP department
-Confident and professional telephone manner
-Good written and oral communication skills
-Strong admin and organisational competences
-Enjoy problem solving and investigating discrepancies
-Team player
