Funding & Performance Manager (MIS / PICS) required by one the UK’s leading training providers delivering Apprenticeships in the workplace based in Hemel Hempstead. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.

We are now looking to recruit an experienced and talented Funding & Performance Manager to take overall responsibility for the production and analysis of the Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Claim, ensuring that all funding opportunities are maximised.  You will bring a strong background in educational / learner data management to the role, utilising our PICS system to provide internal and external financial, data information and manage the full system. 

It is essential that you are able to interpret and be fully proficient with government and ESFA funding rules, guidance and methodology, redefining organisational policies and procedures as necessary to ensure total compliance. You will also be required to prepare and oversee ESFA audit and ensure that we are 100% compliant (paper / electronic action plans) and that sufficient evidence is in place to substantiate support claims for learners with additional learning needs.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee production and analysis of the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) Claim
-Ensure that all administration practices and procedures meet SFA and funding guidance standards and compliance. 
-Monitor and review current practices to ensure they are continuously improved
-Work closely with all managers on a daily basis to maximise productivity and quality for the company on all matters relating to the Claim and SFA Audit and any other new requirements needed for completion as a result of analysis.
-Supervise the administrative function of Data / PICS management; this may require visits to regional managers and field staff.

You will have:
-A minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
-In depth knowledge of using PICS or ESFA compliant MIS systems.
-Experience of creating reports, manipulating data and using pivot charts
-Experience of working with a Training Provider
-Experience of making claims
-Experience in managing Base Data and setting up Qualification Plans
-Experience or understanding of financial management for Levy and non- Levy Employers
-Experience and understanding of Apprenticeship New Reforms and Standards
-Excellent I.T. skills including Excel
-Excellent communication skills both verbally & in writing
-Ability to analyse and report on conclusions
