Electronic Design Engineers (Junior and Senior) required by electronics company based in Poole, Dorset. Competitive Salary offered depending on skills and experience . We have two positions available – one junior, the other more senior - and applications are invited from a range of candidates, recent graduates to fully experienced professionals.
We are a leading manufacturer of voltage converters, power supplies, battery chargers and a number of other related items for the automotive, communications and marine markets. As part of the ongoing development of our portfolio of successful products, we now have several vacancies for ambitious engineers to join our engineering and development team. Ideally qualified to degree level with an ongoing, active personal interest in power electronic design you will design, build and test your own electronic designs for both analogue and digital systems.
Working knowledge/experience of some/all of the following is required:
-Design, build and test electronic designs
-Analogue and digital systems
-Switch mode power supplies
-Microcontrollers in embedded systems on power products
-Embedded software programming in C++
-Application programming for Microsoft Windows operating systems (debugging & communication with embedded processors).
-Schematic capture, e.g. Altium etc.
-Circuit simulation using SPICE based applications
-EMC considerations in product design
