Experienced European Transport Planner required by Freight & Logistics Company based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Salary dependent on skills and experience. Rotating shift 07:00-15:00 and 11:00-19:00 Monday to Friday.
We are now looking to recruit an experienced European Transport Planner to plan multiple export trailers departing daily for Europe and Ireland.
Responsibilities
-Plan freight to relevant export trailers within business constraints
-Complete all documentation both internal and external and in a timely manner to include customs and ADR documents
-Ensure all trailers are planned to ensure legal compliance
-Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Query resolution alongside colleagues and team leader
-Maintain complete and accurate records at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
-Previous experience in a similar role.
-Awareness of ADR and customs documentation desirable
-Knowledge of freight procedures and policies
You:
-Good basic arithmetic skills
-Excellent understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
-Computer literate
-Ability to work unsupervised when necessary
