We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join our busy department working on a Part time basis 20 hours / week.
Although a general HR role, the organisation is looking for an individual who is particularly strong in employee relations. You will be CIPD qualified and is accustomed to working in a professional office environment A particular bias towards handling employee relations is essential as is the ability to challenge and influence in a professional and well-articulated manner
Duties:
-Improvements- Provide HR support in improving processes and ways of working throughout the organisation.
-Employee Relations- Support and advise senior staff through disciplinary and grievance hearings ensuring employment law is correctly applied throughout.
-Employee Engagement- Understand the employee morale in the office and look to improve levels of engagement.
-Recruitment- Carry out the recruitment process in a consistent and professional manner ensuring appropriate talent is attracted and retained.
-Team management support- Support and coach Team managers in an efficient and professional manner.
-Oversee the office Health and Safety Procedures.
-Manage staff absence/holidays
-Monitor staff training and career progression
