Financial Advisor / Consultant required by leading independent financial services company based in Stokenchurch, nr High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Highly competitive salary and commission package offered. Excellent career / progression opportunity for the right candidate. A knowledge of business finance/accounts is essential for this role.

We provide key financial services to the franchise industry including the preparation of comprehensive business plans and offering financial training. Due to the growth in our business, we now require a Financial Advisor / Consultant  to join the team, supporting the delivery of our financial services.
 
We are interested to hear from candidates who have gained an experience / understanding of business financials whilst in the workplace (e.g. banking/finance sectors) and are looking for the next career step or are returning to work following a career break.
 
Key Responsibilities:               
-Preparation of Business Plans and Financial Forecasts for both new and existing franchise businesses
-Sourcing finance solutions for clients from our comprehensive panel of lenders
-Submission of finance applications to lenders
-Managing finance applications through to completion
-Liaising with the client/lender and franchisor throughout the process
-Liaise with other areas of the business and making referrals as appropriate
-Contacting / liaising with franchisors as appropriate 
-Assisting and supporting the Business Planning & Funding team     
-Maintaining up to date client information via our CRM system                    
-The role is office-based, but client meetings may occur from time to time along with attendance at franchise exhibitions, as required
 
Skills and Experience:             
-A knowledge of business finance/accounts 
-Understanding balance sheets and the difference between profit & loss and cashflow
-Strong interpersonal skills are required and the applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and the ability to build good relationships
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work under own initiative and to be able to meet tight deadlines
-Demonstrate the ability to be a team player             
-Must be proficient with MS Excel and competent in the use of MS Word               
-Full training will be provided
