CNC machine Programmer / Setter required by a leading design and manufacturing company within the Aerospace industry. Based in Denton, Manchester, salary is £25K+ depending on skills and experience. Optional overtime.
Founded to service the needs of the Aerospace industry, supplying printed aluminium templates, we have rapidly grown and diversified to provide a comprehensive tooling service to most industry sectors, becoming specialists recognised worldwide in: CNC Machining, Design (including reverse engineering), Tool Making and Pattern/Model Making.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter to join the team, creating machining programmes for current CNC machines and understanding the different disciplines required to machine and finish aerospace tooling.
Skills and Experience:
-Strong engineering background ideally within Precision Engineering
-CNC setting, programming in 3 and 5 Axis mill machines and using any of the following: Heidenhain; Mitsubishi; Fanuc Controls
-Offline Programming CNC Milling machines using Autodesk DelCAM, PowerMILL or similar.
-Ability to create method sheets, tooling sheets, setting sheets, planning and process drawings.
-Working knowledge of engineering materials and processing of such materials such as Aluminium and steel.
