A full time Export Administrator / Clerk required by a manufacturing company, supplying the leisure marine industry and based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Salary is negotiable, between £19,500 and £21,500 depending upon experience.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Export Administrator / Clerk to join a well-established small OEM company in a flexible and varied role. Own brand products are made in-house and exported around the world. With previous experience in a similar role, you will have knowledge of export and import procedures and customs requirements for different countries and be able to ensure daily deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with customers, order entry and confirmations, order processing, invoicing and hipping/transport for both UK and world-wide export.
- Support for import purchasing and transport. Also provide some cover for UK purchasing.
- Maintain customer records and shipping guidelines.
- Check and clear transport invoices.
Shared administration duties:
-Enter efficiency data into spreadsheet for company KPI’s.
-Weekly and Quarterly physical stock take
-Postage / telephone / tea duties
Holiday is 23 days per calendar year (starting on first January) plus bank holidays. Three or four days each year will need to be reserved for Christmas shut-down.
