IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) required by IT Solution Company based in Sandycroft, Deeside . Competitive salary package offered depending on skills and experience.
Established for over 20 years, we offer professional IT support and services to business and organisations throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are now looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Engineer to join our Support Team, providing support both remotely and at our customer premises.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise their own work load so that tasks are completed to a customer’s satisfaction and meet Service Level Agreements where necessary. Our offices in Sandycroft are modern and  comfortable and we can offer you a friendly, dynamic working environment.
With at least 2 years’ experience in a 2nd Line IT Support environment, you will demonstrate a strong aptitude for attention to detail and excellent customer service skills with a desire to learn about new and future technologies.

Main duties will include:
-Take 1st and 2nd line support requests and to log them on our helpdesk system.
-Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and questions, whilst maintaining an accurate task record in our helpdesk system
-Proactively help resolve support tickets as required
-Participate in infrastructure installation, hardware refresh and other projects as occasion demands
-Install new equipment and software at customer premises. 

Essential Skills and Expertise
-Minimum of 2 years proven experience working in a 2nd line position
-Microsoft accreditation (MCSA or MCSE).
-Microsoft Server 2003 – 2012: Microsoft Exchange 2007 – 2013: Microsoft Office 365
-Microsoft desktop PC OS XP – Windows 10: Microsoft Active Directory
-Server Virtualisation (HyperV and VMware)
-LAN/WAN (routers, switches, firewall)
-High level desktop support skills
-Backup technologies 

Highly Desirable
-Knowledge of working for a Managed Service Provider
-Experience with SharePoint management and support.
-Experience of ShadowProtect and BackupExec products
