Sales Engineer required by systems integration company serving the pharmaceutical sector to cover sales territory in the North of England and Scotland. Competitive OTE salary offered (plus company car / laptop / mobile). The role is home-based with monthly visits to the Head Office in Berkshire, South East. 
 
We are a rapidly expanding business supplying and servicing Environmental Monitoring Systems to the pharmaceutical industry and NHS hospital trusts. We are now looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Sales Engineer with Electronic/HVAC/SCADA/PLC experience to join the team, heading up our Sales activities in the North and Scotland.
 
You may already have a proven track record of Technical Sales or be a competent Electronic / Environmental Engineer looking to move into the sales arena to develop your customer facing and sales skills.  Experience of clean room monitoring applications would be highly desirable, but not essential as fully training will be given. Primarily you will be motivated and confident, demonstrating the ability to work closely with clients and tailor solutions to the client’s requirements from the company’s portfolio of software and hardware.
 
Responsibilities
-Manage the Northern Sales Territory, providing monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
-Follow up sales enquiries generated from the company’s sales and marketing plan
-Cultivate new sales leads from the pharmaceutical market sector and existing customer base.
-Attend exhibitions and seminars and attend the company’s exhibition stand
-Demonstrate the company’s environmental monitoring systems to potential customers.
-Maintain a good working knowledge of the company’s products and supporting third party infrastructure products.
-Generate quotations, drawings and proposals to suit client’s system requirements.
-Liaise with third party sub-contractors to specify and obtain installation quotations for the system solutions proposed.
-Specify and obtain quotations for third party support hardware which are required to be included with the system solutions proposed.
