Sales / Business Development Executive Consultant required by established training and development company based in Leicester. Basic c£18K - c£20K depending on skills and experience. Potential OTE of £35K - £40K+ uncapped.

Established for over 25 years, we have an enviable reputation in the training industry providing services to blue chip, multi nationals, public sector and individual companies who require expert training, in Management and IT skills and qualifications.
We now require an experienced and motivated Sales professional to join our team. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate the skills to deliver a consultative sales approach, facilitating our customers to help them understand their own training needs before selecting bespoke and standard training packages for them from our extensive portfolio of services.
With a demonstrable success in sales, you will have the relationship building skills to find and then develop on-going sales accounts.  Full product training will be provided along with mentoring support from our Account Managers.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to progress through the company, moving onto more senior Sales / Account Manager roles
Key Responsibilities
-Telephone new customers from within our CRM database system - Generating sales and leads – through cold calling
-Developing new accounts into long standing customers and create referrals
-Applying qualification skills
-Quoting for solutions that fit customer identified needs
-Closing Skills
-Undertake customer meetings to develop business and relationships further
-Working to targets and deadlines
-Updating customer records on the database, maintaining your Sales Pipeline. 

Key skills and experience
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales environment
-Proven success at new business generation
-Ability to support customers to understand their own training needs
-Excellent client relationship skills
-Warm, confident and welcoming telephone manner
-Highly motivated and persistent
-Be proactive when dealing with customers and not be afraid to ask questions
-Energetic and enthusiastic
-IT Literate with previous experience of Word/Excel/outlook
