SQL Analyst Developer required by Data Management company based in Reading. Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience.

£30,000-£35,000: At least 1 year of ETL and SQL Development experience plus knowledge of the development life cycle.

£35,000-£40,000: At least 2 years of ETL and SQL development experience plus at least 1 year of SSAS and SSRS experience. Also required knowledge of advanced SQL techniques, development life cycle and agile process.
We are a rapidly growing industry leader in data management, designing and building platforms for primarily the healthcare sector. We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SQL Analyst Developer to join our product development team.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate first class communication skills and technical expertise within SQL. Experience of .net would be highly advantageous but not a requirement. The ability to learn quickly and have an aptitude for problem solving is essential. The role is primarily based out of our office in Reading and will require considerable client travel initially. This will reduce to about 25% dependent on business requirements. You will gain experience across all different NHS organisation types and private sector industries across the UK. Once established, some home working flexibility will be possible. Full clean driving licence required.
-Develop and test health care data management products
-Ensure that documentation is fully updated and compliant
-Provide pre-sales support to the Healthcare Product Development Manager
-Support the interface design.
-Assist in the build and testing process.
-Provide product use and customisation support to the professional services team
-Provide first line product support for our customers 

Essential Expertise:
-Degree or equivalent experience
-Basic understanding of NHS data items e.g. Inpatient, Outpatient etc
-Working experience querying and working with an NHS patient administration system
-Understanding of relational database concepts and structures 

Essential Technical Skills:
Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008R2, 2012 & Greater: De-normalisation Techniques: T-SQL: SSIS:
Data Warehouse modelling concepts and methodologies:
Desirable Technical Skills:
.net development skills: SSAS: SSRS Reporting Writing: MDX and Dimensional Modelling
Previous experience in a  technical analyst role in the NHS and working knowledge of RTT pathway analysis and relevant calculations  would be highly advantageous.
