Commercial Insurance Account Handler required by Insurance Specialist based in their Gillingham office in Dorset. Salary £24,000 - £28,000 depending on skills and experience. Relevant experience of working in commercial insurance is essential and it would be beneficial if you have experience of Farm and Agriculture insurance. Please note this role is based in Gillingham, Dorset.
You will need strong communication skills and the ability deliver outstanding customer service to a book of customers. The role requires you to engage with a wide variety of interested parties, working closely with the Account Executive team to help develop the book of business. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with an appetite to learn and achieve professional qualifications.
-Relevant experience of working in commercial insurance
-Experience using Acturis software
-Ability to deliver excellent customer service
-Ability to work in a team/team player
-Ability to work swiftly yet accurately
-Cope with varying workloads and pressures
-Good negotiation skills
-Decision making
-Numeracy and literacy skills (to GCSE level/equivalent)
