Commercial Vehicle Sales Consultant required by Motor Dealership based in Bolton, Lancashire. Basic £20K - OTE of £40K+ depending on skills and experience. A proven sales record within the motor industry is essential for this role.

Based at our state of the art Dealership in Bolton we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Consultant to join our busy Commercial Vehicle Sales Department. Our customers range from sole traders to larger businesses with a fleet of vans or company cars and so experience within this role is essential.

We are a large privately owned dealer group employing over 250 employees, 60% of whom have been with us for 5 years or more. We have a strong relationship with the manufacturers we represent and have a passion for “driving excellence” in all that we do ensuring we connect with both internal and external customers and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
-Visiting potential customers for new business
-Delivering a professional and enjoyable customer experience
-Winning new business in line with agreed parameters
-Ensuring optimum stock of vehicles
-Gathering market and customer information
-Providing feedback on future buying trends
-Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
-Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
-Liaising with the Manufacturer to check on the progress of existing order 

The successful candidate should possess the following:
-A proven record within the motor industry and outstanding sales and marketing skills
-Excellent communication skills
-A high degree of self-motivation and drive
-The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
-Commercial awareness
-Strong negotiator, possessing excellent presentation skills
-Driving licence
