We are a fast growing, venture capital backed premium finance company that promotes financial inclusion by enabling the payment of insurance premiums via instalments. Based in Mayfair, London, we supply insurance brokers with funding lines and self-funding opportunities.
 
Due to current business growth, we are now looking to recruit Junior Accountant to join the Finance Team.  Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be integral in ensuring effective and accurate finance operations. Due to the size of the business this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broader range of duties across a company.
 
Our ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, work within a team environment and take initiative where required. This is a hugely exciting role to begin building your finance career within a fun and tight knit team.
 
We are interested to hear from a range of candidates. You may be a School leaver with strong A level results in appropriate subjects; a Graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 degree; or already have 6 – 12 months of experience of working within a finance department. Strong skills across Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel are essential.
 
Responsibilities:
-Assist with the departments financial reporting requirements
-Code and process invoices onto the financial system and liase with the relevant departments within the business to clarify the nature of expenses where necessary
-Assist with the posting of bank receipts and payments through the Sage system
-Deal with all finance administration
-Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
-Contribute to supporting other areas of operation within the finance department to assist in maintaining overall service levels and improve efficiency of the function and the department as required
-Assist with any ad hoc duties, including reconciliations and data analysis, as directed by senior members of the finance team
