Product Manager required by industrial communications distributor based in Toddington, Bedfordshire. Salary £25,000 - £35,000 per annum + bonus depending on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electronics/Electrical Engineering as well a previous experience in a technical distribution/sales orientated environment.
We are a leading distributor of industrial communication and computing products, working closely with manufacturers to supply a range of industry sectors (eg Water, Factory Automation, Power, Transportation).
Due to recent expansion we are now looking to recruit an experienced Product Manager to join the team. The role will involve both supporting technical sales within our main industrial markets as well being the focal point for technical support activities, liaising with suppliers to resolve technical issues and finding solutions for customers
-Work with internal and External Sales to meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
Providing lead time and prices to Internal Sales team
-Assist Sales teams with bids, tenders and quotations
-Support External sales staff (joint Customer visits)
-Demonstrate the products to customers, where appropriate
-Liaise with Suppliers and Customers/potential Customers
-Meet with Suppliers and third-parties to create strategic partnerships
-Responding and providing Technical Support on all the Company’s products
-Support Operations and Marketing teams
-Prepares regular reports about product revenue predictions and results
-Gather customer feedback to determine ways that our product ranges can be improved 

Desired Qualifications/Experience
-3-5 years’ experience in a Distribution Sales/Technical orientated role
-Ideally a Technical Qualification in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Previous experience of working in a busy Sales environment
-A flexible approach to assist in other areas of the business
-Conversant with MS Office and CRM systems
-Foreign language skills could provide an advantage
-A full driving licence is essential
