Customer Services Representative

Exciting opportunity for Customer Services Representative to join a leading global logistics supplier based at their Head Office in Low Moor, Bradford. Previous experience in a Logistics/Freight environment would be highly desirable but not essential.  Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
 
Working as part of a team within our busy Customer Services Department, you will provide an exemplary standard of customer service to both internal contacts and external clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate shipment bookings via our transport management system
-Obtain client quotes recorded on the same system
-Obtain a rate for a client via our internal spot quote tool (excel based programme processing shipment data)
-Communicate internally with our various UK depots / European contacts to chase shipment status
-Handle calls taking relevant details and progressing with the enquiry themselves
-Potential to progress to external contact with clients at varying level of position from warehouse/ office/ managerial

About You:
-Competent excel/ word skills
-Regular PC work
-Good telephone manner/ confident
-Accuracy in their work/ good attention to detail
-Comfortable in a team environment
-Willing to ask questions
-Experience in a Logistics/Freight environment would be highly desirable
