Part Time Sales and Marketing Assistant required by IT Services Company based near Croydon. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. This role is offered on a Part Time / Flexible basis with a minimum of 20 hours per week to fit in around other family / lifestyle commitments.

Our client is a Microsoft Partner providing professional outsourced support and IT services to the SME and voluntary sector market for over 25 years. They now require an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their team dealing with a diverse range of sales and marketing areas working from offices just outside of Purley, Surrey. This is an important and exciting role providing sales support directly to the Directors as well as dealing with existing and potential customers. You will also be responsible for assisting with marketing areas to optimise new business lead generation.

- Customer Account Management including liaising with customers by phone and email, creating and amending proposals for outsourced support, upgrades, installations, etc.
- First point of contact for potential clients, scheduling onsite meetings for Sales Director and/or providing quotations in line with their requirements pre/post meeting.
- Follow up customers by phone and email following proposal sending and/or onsite meetings with view to amending quotes and ultimately closing.
- Deal with Suppliers with regards to information and costing proposals.
- Deal with and/or liaising with third party Marketing providers with regards to PPC campaigns, SEO optimisation, etc.
- Assist with website content updates and website amendments.
- Assist with promotional email flyers, newsletters etc.
- Assist with Company promotional literature and branding.
- Answer phone.

The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone manner and good written and verbal English as well as very good customer service skills. You should also possess good organisational skills and be able to work on your own and as part of a team. Although it is not essential that you have worked in the IT sector previously, providing you are a quick learner and have a confident telephone manner, it is important that you have sufficient technical understanding of IT to be able to deal credibly with customers.
