The company is currently in an exciting growth period and is looking to double the size of its Life Insurance Retention Team over the coming months. This is a sales driven role (the more business you retain the more commission you will earn). It has a starting basic salary of between £18 - £30k (depending on skills and experience) and a Year 1 OTE of £35k. On a day to day basis you will :
-Ensure that the sales call process and the companies compliance procedures are adhered to at all times.
-Make outbound calls to customers whose premium has been increased by the insurer to explain why and to look at other options if necessary.
-Make outbound calls to customers who’s policy has cancelled (for whatever reason), to find out why they have cancelled and to do all you can to reinstate their policy or place them with another insurer.
-Ensure that accurate and detailed notes are input into our CRM system following any contact with a customer.
-Liaise with insurers to chase information re a customers policy and expedite the application process
-Take overflow leads into our sales team and sell new policies
-Take inbound calls as and when necessary
Successful and demonstrable experience in Aftersales/Business Retention is essential and you must have the personality, work ethic and determination to hit and exceed targets. Experience in Life Insurance sales is desirable but not essential.
Upon joining, you will undergo a full training programme before being integrated into the Retention team – you will not be put onto the phones until they (and you) are 100% happy that you will succeed. This is a target driven role and you will be expected to progress steadily through their bonus schemes with each having higher targets and greater earning potential. The company always looks at career progression and all current managers have been developed from more junior roles from within the company.
